TAMMY HERMANT SCHOLARSHIP
Dr. Tammy Hermant has established a scholarship to be awarded to an exceptional underprivileged student who has demonstrated through dedication a commitment to music studies. Preference will be given to a student whose primary area is voice.

Mariammal Sridharan, a 16 year old vocalist from St. James Town Community Arts continues to impress her instructors with her range and talents.
2022
Vivid Ma, continues to reap superlatives for her talent and performance. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Vivid is now studying for her MA in piano performance at the prestigious Butler School of Music, at the University of Texas under the tutelage of Anton Nel. She also works with students studying for their RCM exams and often accompanies young vocalists.
2021
Mariammal Sridharan, age 14, from the St. James Town Community Arts is the first recipient of the Tammy Hermant Scholarship. She is a talented vocalist who studies opera and is a member of the Canadian Children’s Opera Company.
